Good news! I've been dismissed from work because of a covid contact so I'll be able to publish it earlier! In around 3 hours from now!

The reference list is a huge mess of unused stuff, and I'm currently trying to clean it. If anyone has any idea on how to do it properly I'm all ears ! :)

I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it works... but you could try editting the "*.var.depends.txt" file in a text editor (like Notepad) and delete the lines you don't need. Maybe create a backup in case that doesn't work :)

MMmm I think that the depends.txt is just a file with all the used dependencies for credit purposes. I was hoping there would be a better solution that editing out all the references

For editing a finished .var: You must extract the .var (7z works for this) and edit the meta.json file within the extracted folder which lists all dependencies, used or unused. However: you can't just use 7z to repackage it as VAM uses SharpZipLib with Unicode so you need to write your own tool to package it jsut like VAM does. From VAM itself: you MIGHT be able to do manual edits just after you press "Prep Package" but before you "Finilize" a package in the package builder. Showing the content for a prepped package and you will probably see the meta.json file there within the folder. I ignore unused dependency errors within VAM as so many packages have these issues. Others I ignore because I don't want a look package on 500+ MB not being used ;)
