For some kind of reason my cabled Internet just stopped working out of the blue. WiFi has no problems though.

While trying the troubleshooting the error I get, which can't get fixed, is " Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration".

Anyone has any idea on how to fix?
I tried:
- restarting both router and pc;
- reinstalling network adapter and updating drivers;
- messing with power settings as suggested on a guide;

A thing I noticed is that I can't reach the router from my pc using the local address, so it must be a hardware problem at this point?

Right click on your internet connection Click on internet settings, then you should be able to get to your ethernet adapter from that page. Right click it and hit properties, then find ipv4, click properties and see if you're set to get a automatic ip or not. I'm trying to remember this by memory. On my phone right now.

Does your router have any lights which are off but marked "LOS"? Could mean ISP down or cable is loose

Also could try some of these, it also has the solution that I was talking about(#3). https://softwarekeep.com/help-center/solved-ethernet-doesnt-have-a-valid-ip-configuration-in-windows-10

Sounds like MS's Apipa address crap.. Follow step 3 mentioned in the link and try to set a fix ip address. Set your router's local address as default gateway.

It could just be your internet provider. They may be experiencing issues that interrupts services. You could try unplugging your modem and plugging it back again. Or you can try restarting you computer.

Not to simplify it too much, but you could just use the default network troubleshooting option and that clears majority of issues...

Have you tried using a different Ethernet cable?

There should be a reset hole in the router. Stick something thin in it and wait a few seconds. The router will rebot and try again.
