Hey everyone 💙 sorry for being quiet. over the last few days as you may have heard the UK has hit unprecedented temperatures which the infrastructure of the country just isn’t built to cope with. Basically the uk has always been a ‘cold’ country. We don’t have aircon in our homes (actually neither do a lot of  businesses and other buildings), in fact our buildings are designed to keep the heat *in*. We’ve had roads, runways and railway lines melting, towns on fire, and generally just the most unbearable conditions. I couldn’t even use my iPad because it was boiling hot, even without being switched on! 

When I was a kid anything over about 27c was considered a heatwave and yesterday hit 40.  I actually bought a big shark-shaped paddling pool and put it up in our lounge where we sat for the last 2 days in cold water! Best investment I’ve ever made 🥰
