NOTE! FoundryVTT V11 break's the ability for this to work! Stay with V10 if you can.

In this video we explore a way that allows you to import your owned content from DnDBeyond into Obsidian.md!

It requires the use of FoundryVTT but provides a way to very quickly port your content from DnDBeyond to FoundryVTT and then to Obsidian.md. The output is full copies of the adventure all formatted and ready for you to polish.

Are you able to use this for importing spells and Items?

I havnt explored that yet. Foundry recently updated and changed their entire data structure breaking the Obsidian Foundry Import plugin in the process ☹️ The best way to get the 5e content that you own is through the cli process or via the csv json importer process using a handlebar template.

Hello! First, thank you so so much for all the tutorials! They've been immensely helpful! After watching this I bought Foundryvtt and am now skipping happily down this rabbit hole (though sad the DDB doesn't work ATM). What I would absolutely love though, is vid explaining how you use Foundryvtt for your in person games (and maybe which plugs help with that) and how you incorporate FVTT vs leaflet in obsidian. 🥰
