Patreon Benefits - Obsidian TTRPG Vault and Discord (Patreon)

The primary reason I created a Patreon was quite simply... because people were asking me to. What started as a desire to share tips on how to use DM tools have really spawned into a community of users who are all sharing tips and helping each other over-come problems. Lately, it's started to spawn into even more with sub-groups of conversation occurring daily around all sorts of TTRPG topics. 

Discord Server

Patreons receive access to a private Discord server. It's a place for us to collaborate on our usage of Obsidian.md. We talk about everything from 'Obsidian How To Guides', 'Data Hunting Tips', 'Formatting Advice' to '3d Printing', 'Fantasy Mapping' and 'AI Image Generation'.

Github - TTRPG Vault

'The Vault' is basically a shared Obsidian Vault designed to help new DMs get a jump start on their journey with using the tool. It includes a number of elements such as:

• Tutorials with Example Notes
• TTRPG Templates
• Handlebar Templates
• Dataview Templates
• Lots of Example Notes
• Templates
• And lots more!

NOTE: This is very much a work in-progress. It's possible that it will never be complete. 

Explore the vault for ideas or pilfer it for parts!

Easy Instructions:

1. Send me a PM with your https://github.com/ userid or email address. 

2. I will give you access to my private GitHub Repository. 

3. Download the ObsidianTTRPGVault. 

4. Extract the *.zip file to somewhere. Ideally where you put your Obsidian Vaults. 

5. Open Obsidian and select the 'Open Another Vault' option (bottom left icon).

6. Open folder as vault. 

7. Select the folder you just extracted. 

8. It will prompt you to enable Plugins, select Allow. 

9. Enjoy. 

A note on contained content: Content contained here is for my personal use or personal use by people who own the content. If you don't own the source data, please purchase it from the publisher or delete it. I understand that most of us own 2 or even 3 copies of the content we use at this point. This post is not public to ensure the internet doesn't start wildly sharing it and the Vault will remain access controlled.
