Clarence you stated that for protein you should take 1.0-1.7g per kg. Is this the same for someone on a caloric deficit as well?

If you have any insight into injury management that would be sweet. Aside from your knees I remember you mentioned once you pinched a nerve in your back (maybe..?) plus slight shoulder/elbow injuries? How do you maintain in injured periods/ try and remain injury free?

yes 1-1.7 protein is for someone who wants to build muscle, regardless of whether you're running a caloric surplus or deficit. However, you can also increase you protein intake and it will help you lose/maintain your weight due to the thermic effect.
