Tempestuous Portal (Patreon)

Hello all!

The Tempestuous Portal is my latest map within the "subclass inspired" series I've taken up recently--this time a blend of the Storm Sorcery sorcerer and Great Old One warlock subclasses. In it, you'll see a mysteriously ascended ring of stone, providing access to unknown depths. 

I imagined this location acting as either a sort of "origin story" backdrop for the storm sorcerer's arcane prowess or alternatively the resting spot of the warlock's patron, a spot they may return to routinely to commune (or negotiate) with the source of their abilities.

What's included in the Download:

• Tempestuous Portal in high resolution, as previewed above
• A "no scaffold" variant that matches its default appearance, but with the rope bridges and wooden scaffolding removed
• A "no statues" variant with the above omissions along with the fountainhead statues inside the ring removed, potentially making it more setting-agnostic 
• A "storm" variant that matches the default map, but with darkness descended, streams of rain across the map, and bright lightning cascading down on the ring
• An "ascension" variant, as previewed above. The Great Old One has emerged for recruitment!
• A "barren" variant with all scaffolding, ruins, and extra boulders removed for a simplistic rocky shoreline to be used as you wish.
• Gridded, gridless, and VTT-Compressed options for all of the above
