Hello folks!

Today I've got for you what is likely my first instance of creating an asset pack for Dungeondraft from the outset, rather than the other way around. For those of you unfamiliar with Dungeondraft (and I'd recommend you acquaint yourself), one of its features is the ability to place light sources that can interact with objects and walls you've indicated to block light.

This Light & Shadow Assets pack is designed to:

  • Allow you to finally be able to disable Dungeondraft's default asset library (help declutter your asset options as a result)
  • Use a much wider variety of light shapes, directions, textures, and effects
  • Layer in a variety of shadow shapes that from my experience, make a huge difference in elevating a map's sense of ambience and drama beyond that of a simple visual layout
  • Shadow shapes for overhead flocks of birds, clouds, and critically... trees!
  • Draw a series of different shadow paths in order to build custom shadows along walls, cliffs, etc.
  • Includes small highlights for dropping onto assets as well as colorable versions of basically everything for maximum customization

I have however also packaged this up as a set of standard, downloadable PNG assets for use among anyone not using Dungeondraft too. Obviously the functionality is a little bit impaired, but all of the same image assets are still included and in lieu of colorable options I have gone ahead and made a set for you in red/yellow/blue.
