Hello all! As with last month we've got a fun bonus release made in collaboration with our friends at Kelfecil's Tales!

As the name suggests, this adventure concerns a mysterious murder and as such is more roleplay/investigation heavy. It takes place at an older, preexisting map of mine for the Waylorn Lodge, which I've taken the liberty of rearranging and painting over somewhat to present you with the updated presentation seen above.

Because we're reviving the location for this purpose I'm also linking to a download for the older map as well. Some of you may find it especially helpful as it includes floating PNG files of the various floors for staging in VTT. Similarly, the NPCs outlined in the adventure PDF correspond to tokens that $2+ supporters can utilize from the Notable NPCs Part One and Part Two from January.

Awesome! I will definitely find a way to drop this in during the next travel session(s). Is there any chance of getting just the ground floor + outside export, no labels, no grid, no exterior isometric view, and no upper level? That way in Foundry VTT we can use things like Levels to provide a stacked build up, while at the same time make the outside completely explorable. For example, I could modify one of the adventures to have a ditched murder weapon outside, etc., or searchable footprints leading in. So basically looking for a version of Murder at the Lodge_unlabeled_nogrid[22x17].jpg that has the upper floor and exterior view removed, so that all we see the ground floor and the outside. This way, the "upper floor" can be treated as an Overhead tile, using the upper floor overlay png provided in the old zip. Everything that is needed is there, just need a version of the "background" that doesn't have the isometric exterior or upper floor. I can even create a roof from your roof tiles.

Separate question: I noticed there is a dogshed dorner in what could be an attic area. Is there an attic, or are the first and second story open to the rafters? If no attic, that would mean the dormer probably illuminates the hall upstairs at the top of stairs, right? And if so, thent there would be a window high on the west wall opposite the stairs? Alternatively, if there is an attic, would the entrance be in that hall through the ceiling, or elsewhere?

Good idea! Had to go back in and repaint a few things on the ground, but I've updated the Maps ZIP and you should find exactly what you're describing in there now!

I was personally imagining/intending it more as open rafters, but in that case you're correct that the window seen in the exterior view should be visible in the wall opposite the stair case on the upper level. Though you're welcome to imagine an attic there instead if you'd like of course!

I am getting a 404 on the zip folder

Hm, might've been a hiccup there Ben as I was just replacing it? I'm not able to replicate any issues on my end right now. Let me know if it persists

that must have been what it was...just happening at the same time. Works great now.
