Tropical Assets (Patreon)

Hello all!

Excited to add another piece of the biome puzzle to your asset library in this set of Tropical Assets. I'd felt that we needed this set for a bit now so decided to just put together a "booster pack" for it rather than waiting for it to come up in the next public theme poll. 

This pack contains:

• Dozens of "ferns" and "fern clusters" to use as standalone plants or create a busier jungle ground texture
• 47 new plants including tropical flowers, palm trees, foliage, and even some "maneater" plants--all in two color varieties
• A "miscellaneous" folder of some basic tropical themed campsite equipment like canoes, paddles, a hammock, fishing equipment, etc.
• A new "Tropical Ground" texture in two color options and seamless varieties
• And of course everything arriving with or without a drop shadow beneath it

In addition, I've put together an "example map" of a Tropical Campsite available for separate download below where you'll find its default version, night variant, and a "wilderness" version omitting any of the manmade elements present. If you'd like to make something similar, I'd highly recommend checking out the Harbor Assets (beaches, water textures, waves, boats, etc.), the River Assets 2 (rivers, waterfalls, ripple overlays), and the Feywild Assets (lots of similar "exotic" plantlife) just to start with.

While I am happy to get to see what you all do with this set, in making it I also feel that there is certainly more to do in this realm in a Tropical Assets 2 so you can expect that sometime in the coming months. I anticipate modular beach pieces, more "miscellaneous" objects akin to what are found here, and an expansion of the available plantlife.
