Hey Folks! So, last week in our WotC Adventure Focus Poll the Candlekeep Mysteries adventure came out pretty distinctly ahead of the others and will be my main WotC-oriented focus for the near future.

Below, I've listed all of the main adventure areas of the module. They're listed by the name of the location first, with its corresponding book name (i.e. the chapter) in parenthesis. Simply check any and all that are of interest to you and after three days this poll will close and I'll be gifted with a little more specific direction to know where to start with this module. Know that bigger areas may release as their own standalone map, while smaller locations may be bundled into another more setting agnostic package (e.g. Building Maps Collection)

For any of my non-WotC using friends, know that I very much also have you in mind when creating these and it will be one of my top priorities to not only ensure that the map(s) are ideal counterparts to their adventurous texts, but are also perfectly usable in your own campaign. If you're not familiar with Candlekeep Mysteries specifically, expect primarily urban interiors, temple ruins, and the occasional odd ball map.

Can I have them all please 🙏 🤣 I'm so happy you are doing Candlekeep maps!! This will be so awesome!

I think it's a bit disingenuous to do the maps of Candlekeep itself, when this was chosen on the merit of supplimenting the adventures of the book. I definitely wouldn't mind Candlekeep getting maps (it's an awesome location that Venatus would do a great job of) I'd just feel bad if it got chosen over the actual adventures

On a different point, Candlekeep itself is a functional hub for the other adventures- if a DM has enough investment, there's plenty of storytelling to be done in Candlekeep before even touching any of the "adventures" in the book. It also has precedents in other media, like Baldur's Gate, and is a location in Faerun that DMs might want to use- I don't usually run published adventure modules, but I used Candlekeep as the location for a storyline and had to really improvise maps in the past.

I think this is a perfectly valid point and while it (at least right now) seems to be clearly the most popular option, it certainly won't mean that I'd do maps of ONLY Candlekeep. Will absolutely be doing them for some of the adventures contained therein too
