Hello everyone!

I know I just released the Ruins Maps Collection last month, but the relative popularity of the collection series in combination with the release of both the Food Assets and Travel Assets a couple of weeks ago left me feeling like this was the ideal opportunity for some Building Maps!

A collection of assorted building interiors was deemed relatively favorable in our last Collection Theme Poll back in April and I think the reason is clear: the premise of several explorable interiors that manage to hit on some of the most common campaign scenes is bound to provide a lot of functionality! So with that in mind (while balancing out existing map themes I've already hit for things like Inns, Temples, etc.) this Collection brings you a variety of maps covering the following 10 map prompts:

  • Artist's Home: I wanted an interior that could serve as a basic residence for any NPC, this one has an artistic flair upstairs!
  • Bank: Perhaps the most 'niche' of the 10 prompts, I felt that a bank could serve as an excellent backdrop for a heist (or heist stopping) as well as a good fit in our Great Expanse setting
  • Blacksmith: Who isn't visiting the blacksmith during the regular shopping spree between dungeons?
  • Fortune Teller: Part 1 of 2 of 'tent interiors' I wanted to do after the Travel Assets, this moody interior would be a great visual for a roleplaying scene where you conveniently drop 'visions' of upcoming BBEGs, macguffins, etc.
  • Fighting Ring: Fighting! Drinks! Gambling! What's not to love?
  • Speakeasy: With there being a number of existing tavern maps in my arsenal already, I wanted to put a little bit of an "illicit" spin on this one, providing a moody basement complete with performance stage and dark corners. Good use as a hideout for the local crime lord too!
  • Keep: Relatively smaller, but well fortified keep that's easy to drag + drop where needed! Have the players deliver an item to a local officer, make some friends, then defend the walls from a surprise hobgoblin siege!
  • War Tent: As with the Fortune Teller, I wanted to be able to provide an explorable tent interior to accompany all of the tents from the Travel Assets. A good scene for players to provide valuable counsel to the front lines!
  • Stable: A classic + bonus hay loft for D&D shenanigans (and cat).
  • Manor: A countryside villa or home in the city's cloud district, this 2-floor manor has room to entertain and board guests when necessary!

All of the above prompts arrive as PNG files with or without grid, relevant cast shadows for ground floors, roofs/exteriors for every building, and importantly, unfurnished variants for every floor plan so the bare bones can be taken and manipulated at will with existing asset packs. And as if that all wasn't enough? I've included 2 example maps of a bustling market scene and a countryside keep to be used at a moment's notice.

Enjoy!

Exactly what I was looking for! I've always found it a bit time-consuming to whip up interiors fast with the assets so these are a great addition. I would love to see more interiors like this that can be easily applied to any campaign. Thanks for the great maps.
