Hello all!

So I've really been wanting to put together a pack of Canyon Assets for a bit now as yet another way of fleshing out our Great Expanse content library (and selfishly I needed some myself for creating scenes for my own campaign!). So I've gone full-dictator and taken the Canyon theme out from the Public Assets pack poll rotation (don't worry, you're still getting the City Walls theme in January) and am releasing it here as a 'booster' pack!

What's inside?

  • 12 unique cacti variations
  • 136 rocks varying from pebbles to mammoth boulders
  • 25 new cliffsides of varying size
  • A new 'canyon' ground texture (with a seamless variant!)
  • All rocks and cliffsides come in an alternate color variant to match those found in the original Mountainside Assets pack
  • All assets arrive with or without shadows
  • 2 example maps made with the assets (and a couple guest packs)

Maybe a stupid question ,but how to use these?

Not stupid in the least! These (and the rest of my asset packs) are comprised of PNG files with transparent backgrounds that can be dropped into nearly any image-making program to build a custom map of your own. I use Photoshop personally, but programs like GIMP or paint.net also work perfectly well

How did you get the roads like that?

Hey Chance! Those are the pieces from the Road Assets pt.2 pack; they may look a little different than they're default version because in photoshop you can edit the layer they appear in by changing what's called the 'blending mode' of the layer. In this instance I believe I changed it from normal to 'overlay' which makes it blend with the canyon texture a bit more successfully. A cool trick when assembling in photoshop, but unfortunately a function that's impossible to preserve in the PNG file of the road itself.
