Hello all!

For the final map of September I'm pleased to share with you all a piece I was specifically asked to create by the /r/CurseofStrahd subreddit! If you're not familiar, it's a phenomenal community resource that I actually utilized heavily as I was preparing for and running our own Curse of Strahd campaign a couple of years ago. It's filled with tons (seriously tons) of quality homebrew to help organize the infamous setting, expand on many of its varying story points, and offers an assortment of content not already available in the module, which I am happy to now get to contribute to as well!

Baba Lysaga's Hut is one of the more well known locations from the adventure as it features a rather memorable encounter with a rather deadly hag. This map, while intentionally created and designed to facilitate that encounter, is delivered in such a way as to offer a great deal of utility to those not planning for CoS too:

  • a massive 30x30 square swamp battle map in 2 variations (lush & dead)
  • 10 variants  of the creeping hut offered in versions with or w/o shadow, grid, a roof covering, and an unfurnished view so you can 'decorate' however you'd like!
  • A hollowed out giant skull used as the hag's flying vehicle, because who doesn't need one of those?

I know a not insignificant number of you have been pining over some swamp assets only to see that theme repeatedly not chosen in our regular polling; while this isn't assets, I hope these ground variants can help fill a little bit of that gap in the meantime!

Enjoy!
