Okay folks I know I always say I'm excited to show you something, but WOW is that true today. After weeks of collaborating and working behind the scenes we are ready to share with you a 15 page module filled with content from 9 creators for the...

I can't tell you how lucky I was to bring together some seriously talented folks on to this, getting to see them create work for our own Great Expanse setting, as well as contribute to an overall product I am monumentally proud of. Some of these creators you may recognize from previous collaborations (like the Gruff & Ready), while others are new faces! Allow me to list all of contributions you'll find here:

  • Venatus Maps: In addition to all of the writing and layout (be gentle) for the module, I also created the Crystalline Rift map, the 'boss battle' of the location.
  • Afternoon Maps: A phenomenal cartographer whose work I've adored for a long time, they created the Crystalline Outpost map, the first encounter of the location.
  • Tom Cartos: Another cartographer I'm sure many of you are familiar with, Tom brought his A-game here and created both dungeon levels of the Silverspring Mine.
  • The Idle DM: A previous contributor to the Gruff & Ready location, The Idle DM is back from their Summer hiatus with a bang, creating 3(!) memorable items for the location.
  • Loot Tavern: Another previous contributor to the Gruff & Ready, Loot Tavern contributed their Heavy Drill  and a beautifully haunting illustration for the Myrilight Lantern.
  • ItsaDndMonsterNow: A designer I'm sure you may already know of if you're on Reddit, Kyle was kind enough to work on 6 new monsters for the location!
  • Music d20: I've loved getting to have Will Savino's musical talents on a number of locations within the Great Expanse thus far (including last month's clocktower map), and his crystalline soundtrack for  the Silverspring Mine is no exception!
  • Papelchemy: The visually delightful (and cute!) papercraft talents of Papelchemy were put to fantastic use on this location through a set of papercraft mine carts and crystals!
  • Silversvard: Lina Andersson is a genuinely great illustrator that I was lucky to wrangle on for three different illustrations within the module. She does not have a patreon, so be sure to show her some love from us on social media instead!

All together we've assembled a 15-page module detailing the mysterious circumstances surrounding the recently abandoned Silverspring Mine, yet another area of exploration within the Great Expanse setting. In total it brings: 2 battle maps, 2 dungeon maps, 5 magic items, 6 new monsters, 3 illustrations for those monsters, its own soundtrack and papercraft goodies, and many pages of lore + adventure to tie it all together!

This has certainly been my most ambitious collaboration yet in regards to project management and writing, not to mention a battle map's worth of detailed crystal to paint (woof). I sincerely hope you all enjoy it, give feedback, and if I haven't said it enough already, dig deeper into the work available from all of these great creators that I got to partner with!

In addition to the standard grid/no-grid versions of my map in the Complete Package .zip, I've also thrown a few additional variations into the attachment below, offering an 'empty' version, VTT, one without miners, etc.

ENJOY!

This is amazing work; thank you!

Kevin

You don't happen to have anything for Wooster, do you? It's referenced in this and it'd be nice to have something for my players to 'walk' around in while prepping for the mine.

In development, stay tuned! If you’re needing something soon I’d suggest using the unlabeled version of the Elisha Burrow map as a stand-in!
