Hey people!

Got a fun one for you today: Ruin Assets (how have I not made these already?)

This pack is a bit bigger than most, bringing you 87 unique assets, all of which come in 4 different color variations (blueish, purpleish, yellowish, and original) as well as with or without a (hand-painted!) shadow.

Altogether these 696 assets fill a much needed gap in the asset library. How critical and near-universal are ancient ruins and abandoned keeps, castles, and temples to our campaigns? They're obviously something that I've explored numerous times in the past for battle maps, but never sat down and hammered out an actual asset pack for, until now!

Please note that while I have a few other areas I want to cover first, I already intend these to be a part 1 that covers more 'ancient' stone ruins whereas the future part 2 will cover more contemporary ruined structures and include wooden beams, rafters, ruined rooftops, and decayed versions of more current wall structures. That way not every ruin has to look like it's at least 100 years old.

In the meantime, please enjoy! As is standard now, I've taken what was my testing image and focused it into an example battle map for everyone to utilize, asset-user or not. If you like these ruin pieces I'd suggest taking a look at some of my previous releases which help build on them:

Perchance could this (and your other asset packs) also come in a Dungeondraft package? I'd love to use your work with DD! Thanks.

Slowly working on that front between maps! It’s not my #1 priority currently, but there is progress being made! Just a bit of a learning curve

One of the Dungeondraft Discord members, Eightbitz, has made some tools (Windows) that can help with making DD packs.

This may be a stupid question....when using your assets that have shadows in photoshop, they always have a weird glow....how do i fix that?

Exactly what I needed! Thank you!
