Wowza folks. I know these assets are gonna be packing a lot of utility for a great many of you and were long overdue, but I am coming up to breathe after days of texture manipulation and painting, color experiments, shadow tweaks, and hour after hour of saving individual files.

Let me outline what's contained within the Lodging Assets so you can understand what made them take so long:

  • 3 distinct styles of building: Wood, Stone, and Brick
  • Each style comes with 70 rooms of different shapes/sizes
  • Every room comes with a no-grid and/or transparent ground variant
  • Each style comes with their own set of individual wall pieces for room customizing
  • The pack is accompanied by a set of 43 assets covering windows, doors, stairs, etc.

In total this "single pack" is bringing you 823 total assets and as you might imagine, they are cumulatively well over Patreon's (somewhat laughable) 200mb upload limit. So I've split the files below into separate zip files based on their room style as well as a 4th zip containing just the lodge props (and the example map seen above).

Speaking of which, none of this covers the example map I started making to show off the assets and (as you can probably tell) I got a little overenthusiastic about it! The Gilded Lily is an upscale drinking establishment where patrons can enjoy the musical talents of a rotating selection of nightly bards. The map was made mostly with assets from this pack, the Furniture Assets from last month, and a smattering of others picked from here and there in the asset library.

Since I'm well aware not all of you choose to use the assets and stick to the standalone maps, I hope you'll find my "example map" of the gilded lily an appropriate compensation. The lodging assets concludes my updating of the 2.5+ year old Tavern Assets and I look forward to moving onto new themes, including the upcoming Harbor Assets!

Enjoy!

I'm guessing that the "shingles" in props are actually shutters.
