Illithid Bestiary (Patreon)

Hey folks!

About a month ago you all voted between a few Underdark civilizations and opted for the Illithids (Mind Flayers) as the top choice! I wanted to follow up on last month's underdark assets with some additional content that you couldn't necessarily achieve with the assets alone in order to really flesh out this popular realm more than what the content was doing already (and you can plan on at least 1-2 more releases along these lines).

So with that in mind, may I present the Illithid Bestiary! This particular hive of mind flayers is occupied with an intense intrigue with the beasts and creatures that populate the particular slice of the material realm they're in. Through test, experiments, and occult transformations they aim (with the ever-present assistance of the Elder Brain) to at a future point set out into the surface world, their experimentation army in tow. 

Isometric dungeons are so fun and not something I'd had the chance to do in quite some time! In the pack below you'll find the standard no grid and no labels variations in addition to an 'empty' variation where all of the chambers are... empty. This is notable as there is another pack attached below of all of the various furniture/machines/decor as isometric assets! This is a bit of an experiment of my own, but it should hopefully allow you to customize this illithid layout however you might wish! If you’re not already familiar with it, I would highly recommend consulting the Illithid section in Volo’s Guide to Monsters for further Illithid lore.

This is also a part of another larger collaboration with several other creators on a new setting primer. I'll be sharing out the specifics of that setting and a bunch of other incredible content you'll all be getting for free later today.
