Hey folks!

Those of you who started following me on Instagram last week will have seen a number of work-in-progress preview shots of the Temple of Keranos. This map, like the Aquaduct of Old I released in March, is inspired by the greek themes present in Wizards of the Coast's upcoming module Mythic Odysseys of Theros. The deity Keranos is the god of storms from that upcoming setting, hence this temple!

I imagine this area as a larger, grand vestibule of sorts near the beginning of the abandoned temple or alternatively after creating it I'm instead inspired to use it as a entrance where players must swim through Keranos' mouth into an underwater dungeon beneath. I've also gone through and made a couple of slight variations to provide wider versatility to the map by including a version without ruin or debris (in case you'd like a temple still in use) or a gloomier cult to Keranos where the fountains contents are decidedly more macabre. If these wider variants are something that you feel are a good idea and you'd like to see more of moving forward please let me know that you like my experiment.

Lastly, if like me you seek to provide traditional artwork of a location in addition to the maps themselves, I was originally inspired by the work of Jessica Woulfe when imagining this area. Check her out as I find the images there to be great backdrop pieces if you run a similar location!

Enjoy!
