All aboard the MNO!

The Montresor Navigation Order is one of the premier railroad companies vying for government grant contracts within The Great Expanse regional setting I shared with you all not too long ago.

As with the original regional map for this setting I am so pleased to be able to share with you yet another beautiful track called On the Rail that my friend Will Savino of Music d20 put together specifically for this map. It's a great mashup of western tropes, grittiness, and steampunk eeriness that I know will make for a great backdrop in our upcoming session. Please help me in showing Will some love and gratitude for his hard work and know that those at his 'artist' tier receive exclusive variants of every track, including both of those he's created for the Great Expanse thus far!

The MNO is where my own players will be starting our campaign as they arrive in the expanse via railway car. As you'll see from the preview images I have a version of the map with the cars linked together as they would for the actual MNO as well as preview image breaking down each of the car types found in this pack.

This 'map' is an interesting hybrid of building map/battle map/asset pack seeing as it describes a 'building layout', comes at battle map scale, and I've also isolated each individual car as PNG assets (arriving with or without a grid as well as shadows). So I hope that all of you (or at least, all of you interested in using a railroad in your campaign) can use it to simply put a building map together of your railcars or also use them as a real time battle map! Whether it's dodging punches in the cramped quarters of the dining car or leaping from car to car on the rooftops, I believe I've covered much of what you may need. And while the MNO specifically has a little more arcane-punch to its engine, I've also included a version of the Conductor's car without all of the large crystals for those of you favoring a more low-magic campaign.

Enjoy!

These made for the perfect map for an Eberron Lightning Rail chase in one my campaings. Absolutely amazing!

Very cool. Will definitely be using in Deadlands and Eberron. Two questions: Why are all the general passenger seats facing backwards? Where are the toilets?
