Waylorn Lodge (Patreon)

Happy to present to you all the Waylorn Lodge! This is a classic roadside inn/tavern that in our setting is ran by a spry, warm gnome grandmother (you'll note the smaller bed in the office on the ground floor). I imagine it having a sort of B&B tone to its mood and ongoings. There are rooms for lounging, a quaint dining room where meals are served, a piano for those musically inclined, spacious rooms for the tenants when compared to other similar countryside establishments, as well as a modest garden from which many of the meals' herbs are grown. 

Unfortunately for the lodge however, within the timeline of our campaign it is also destroyed by a roving band of undead (or orcs, goblins, gnolls, or whatever fits your flavor). Next month I'll be releasing an alternate battle map version of the Waylorn Lodge, but in the horribly disarrayed state that you may choose your players to find it (or return to it) in. Walls will be demolished, furniture ruined, fading blood marks and it will be up to any interested adventurers to determine what happened here before their arrival. 

It is also the LAST mapped location from my very first provincial map, the Ancasta Flatlands! Dunno, why I waited this long to put it together, but if you peruse through the maps in our Archive and compare it to the provincial map you'll find a corresponding map to every named location, finally giving it a (to me) very satisfying sense of completion and verisimilitude.
