Thank you + Patron Survey (Patreon)
Content
Hello all!
One thing that I feel I don't do as much as I should is say thank you! Thank you for choosing to support me with a few of your hard-earned dollars every month and for your enthusiasm, feedback, and requests on the content I create with your help. Since the inception of this patreon page in 2017 your growing support has allowed me to shift my freelance focus from various, disconnected projects and clients to fully working on D&D-based content; something that is always a joy for me and that I know not every creative out there is lucky enough to be able to claim.
Several days ago I put out a poll in the wake of the new paper miniatures I created for the Xanathar's Guild Hideout to see what your collective thoughts were on paper miniatures generally speaking. While the result of that poll was certainly helpful (it seems that paper miniatures are not going to be taking a consistent month-to-month role in the release schedule for now), it left me wanting more.
One thing that I've always attempted to do over the life of this patreon (with varying amounts of success) is create content that is sought after, valuable, and-most of all-useful to you as DMs. While the needs and wants of hundreds of patrons is obviously not something I am going to be able to perfectly satisfy all the time, I do believe there is a common chord to be found here among the many of you supporting me.
So all that is to say.. I made a survey! I consider this a sort of 'state of the patreon' survey and hope that it will give me a slightly clearer picture on which patrons are looking for what content and for which reasons. It's only 10 questions and should take just a couple minutes of your time. It's my goal to reach at least 50% patron participation on this survey by the end of June, at which point (for transparency's sake) I will share the results of the survey with you all and discuss how your collective feedback will shape my creative direction moving forward.
So if you would be so kind (and want to help me figure out where to go from here), please take a couple of minutes to fill out this survey. I seriously greatly appreciate it and know that it's no small order asking you to take the time to do so (I've got a little thank you gift coming closer to the end of Summer).
