Heya people!

For the third map of April I'm happy to present you with the city of Valarondir, a location that was collaborated on with fellow $5 patron supporter, Phil Sweet.

Valarondir comes from the homebrew setting that Phil's crafted for use with his own players and as you can see, is rather heavily situated on a large body of water, the Kingsea (not to be confused with...). The Naval Barracks and Docks that funnel into the interior core of the city help lend a more specific sense of life to the layout of the city.

Hopefully it's somewhat easy to tell just by looking at it, but the upper nobility of the city that reside towards the center of the city's rings are also perched increasingly higher and higher above the lower rings, with the First Manor looming over all. Along with the two dueling marketplaces in the trading district and the various neighborhoods dotting the lower ring, I'll trust that there's enough story seeds present in the map for the DM in each of you to start imagining with.

Enjoy!

Looks great! Quick question for anyone: roughly how many people would live in a city this size?

For my game, it's a capital city of about 30,000. However, obviously this is scaled down a bit from the "reality" of it.
