Let the chapter begin!
The start is quite messy again, because we've lost both weeks of preparation on dealing with the hater on YouTube. I'm trying to balance at writing and translating  the script while already drawing first pages, which is way, way too bad. But we are still here and even brought some changes!

First of all I'm switching from Krita to Clip Studio Paint EX

As much as love Krita, I really suffer using it while it has that terrible bug with hotkeys not working. Webtoons gifted free 3 month of CSP EX and I decided to use this chance. And then I will have to save up to buy the license, but it's totally worth it

I love the results. CSP does have some problems. I didn't like its blur brush which is essential for my shading style. So I had to create something Krita like and I can't say it's perfect. But it's at least something. CSP doesn't have as powerful perspective tool as Krita does. There is no comic browser (but at least some alternative). Krita's performance is better too.

However I'm absolutely in love with CSP lineart tools. My lineart is my weakest thing to be honest, but CSP helped even in such severe case as mine :D CSP assets library is just something brilliant. I'm not a big fan of 3D models, I honestly tried to use them, but it's faster and easier for me to build the figure manually. But I found new brushes, tools, textures at one reliable place and that's amazing. I love its special fill tool (it makes my flat coloring process extremely fast and I'm so happy) and background effects brushes.

As for special comics tools like balloons - this is where I realized I'm switching to CSP. In Krita I had to do it manually and had perfectly oval balloons. Text often didn't fit and I struggled with that much. CSP has an amazing tool for balloons and it makes my life so much easier.

I guess I can write a whole article about these two programs, so let us just stop here

The next update is that "The Fate!" will now also have vertical format. I still prefer pages because I dream to print the comic one day. But we decided to adapt it for Webtoons also. Patreon will have both versions, so you could just read the one you like more
