Sneak Peek #142 (Patreon)

We've finally passed YumiCH'es exams, I've solved most of my troubles with documents. A bit more to take place in the future, but I guess this won't happen earlier, than in January.

So we are finally back to work in full power. Can't say we're happy with November, but we are really glad we took some rest

The main thing happened - we've celebrated (in a way) our second birthday. I've slept at best two hours that day, YumiCH was terrified with her hard exms, so we weren't actually in the best condition at that moment. But we are very happy we reached this date and managed to do this collab in time. Sketch and lines by YumiCH, colours and shading by Airis

Airis was kind of exhausted after everything happened, so YumiCH did some of the updates that time

At the same time we've noticed our Webtoons' stats raised significantly. We didn't care much that time, but a few days later realized this was strange indeed. When our brains finally started to work we found out an amazing thing happened

We got featured on Webtoons' main page. This is the first time "The Fate!" got featured on any of the platforms we've been published for two years. We kind of accepted we would never get any support and this thing suddenly happened right at our comics' birthday. This feature lasted for a week and increased our subscribers number from 16400 up to 18500. And we also gained 200k pageviews in a week. This means that at least in January we will get financial support from Webtoons, big enough to pay much attention to the comics. I really hope to use this as a chance to strengthen Patreon, which suffered much while we had all those troubles. And who knows, maybe this will become a chance to focus on "The Fate!" completely in 2021

After that we've tried our first voice stream. Unfortunately it was in Russian (bad thing we can't speak two languages at once). But it also raised "The Fate!" own Discord Server question once again. So possibly this will become one of our aims for 2021.

On that stream YumiCH offered to draw something for Harry Potter theme (we both like the story, so that seemed to be a sweet idea). I've realized I messed up with the ties a bit, but hope that won't spoil the effect :D

We were joking that the Sorting Hat might be very confused with things happening in Shelby's head, and that's how we've started the series. Our sweet pup's House is Ravenclaw by the way

Slytherin for him obviously

Many people were sure Luka should be in Slytherin and Sheas in Gryffindor, but we've chosen quite the opposite. The reason is in these characters' future development, which actually starts right in current chapter. Anyway, we do find Sheas more sly and ambitious, so he should feel good in Slytherin (however Ravenclaw was considered as an option for him too). As for Luka we didn't actually hesitated, we just feel like Gryffindor would be the best for him

Ravenclaw for James and Slytherin for Lein. Another quite obvious choice we made. We consider age difference is less in this series than in the original, so they both are shown as students. And James had another haircut when he was younger

Gryffindor for Shayera and Hufflepuff for Pete. Another quite obvious solution. BTW Pete's Patronus is a bird (not quite sure which one exactly)

Ren would 100% be Gryffindor Quidditch player and Aiden (Hufflepuff) will make sure he is well fed :D

Kei would join Hufflepuff and Adam would join Slytherin. Love the contrast of these two anyway

Luther (Hufflepuff) and Catalina (Slytherin) seem to look really natural in this AU. I also realized I desperately missed these two. We do need more drawings with them

And finally Christine (Hufflepuff) and Silvia (Gryffindor). Another couple I missed so much. 

I guess there will be at least three more drawings on this theme, soo I hope you'll enjoy them.
