Sneak peek #135 (Patreon)

Some of you might have already noticed this patreon main page has updated. Now there is a special calendar with updates schedule. I was really inspired and wanted to do everything properly this month. I even did some updates ahead.

And then my hard drive crashed

God bless Google Drive. Most of my files were there, so I didn't lost "The Fate!" archives.  Some of the sketches were lost, but that's not a big trouble. The problems was I couldn't draw for that period. At the moment I can draw, but not as comfortable as I'd love to

As my brother said, if I'd be a superhero, I'd be "Lady Catastrophe". Honestly, I'm neither sad, nor angry, it's just funny how I crash everything all the time. 

The good news is that my so called "sister" Jane is going to visit me. We live thousands of miles apart and this is going to be our first meeting in real world. And we're going to spend evenings drawing together, so I really hope this is going to increase my productivity

Meanwhile we've continued to work on the world setting in details. I hope I will be able to draw more characters profiles soon

Esteban and Victoria Jade. Esteban is a strong man, known for his agression and power. His parents were absolutely against his marriage with Victoria. But he loved this girl so much he sacrificed his relationships with parents for her. 

Victoria is very shy and quiet, but she is very attentive and smart. Esteban respects his wife very much and often asks her for advice, because he knows she can see more than he does. 

Victoria's personality caused much troubles at first. The girl wasn't ready for the highest society. She was hounded and taunted, so Esteban had to keep an eye on her all the time. This turned into strict control so Tori lost her independency. She didn't mind to be controlled though and cleary understood that was better for her. Nobody dared to get into conflict with Esteban, so Tori was safe.

Hovewer this later turned into Esteban raised their children strictly. Shelby was forced to respect and treat women properly. Silvia and Catalina were taught to be strong and fearless so they wouldn't have to be as weak in front of other people as they mother is. 

Victoria loves her children. When they were kids, she used to spend time cooking together with them. This is why Shelby loves cooking so much: this reminds him of the time he treasured much.

Esteban loves his children too. But his desire to protect them led to the attempts to control them. He tried to use the same methods he used with Tori and ended bad. His kids were strong and didn't want to become his puppets, so that led to a big conflict with Silvia. Silvia hates for father much and doesn't try to hide that. And Esteban is too proud to apologize. Tori took her husband's side, so Silvia hates her too. Catalina prefers to keep distance from her parents and all their talks are only about business. However both sisters are still scared of their father, because he did show he is the head of this family.

Shelby is the only one, who loves everybody. He is kind of a bridge between his sisters and parents. He forgave and understood each of them and now does his best to make things right in this family

You will see this story in more details during "The Fall", since it will cover the conflict of Esteban and Silvia and also uncover some details of Esteban and Tori's past
