Sneak peek #99 (Patreon)

I guess it's time to show some things. I've had to go through many things over July and that influenced Patreon and my whole work much. Of course fist of all it was the accident I got into at the beginning of July. Then there was few days of peace and new troubles. I don't want to show them off, but I guess I owe some explanations. 

I have a nice family, but still not perfect. One of our problems is my alcoholic uncle. This month he has outdone himself so we had to spend few days with him to calm him down and clean up all the mess he did. The worst thing for me is that everyone keeps to feel sorry for him so no real actions were made to stop him. And though I love him, I don't really want this to keep happening. This stress often bothers me, though I'm trying not to become a depressive shit and keep being positive.

YumiCH has troubles with her family too. Her stepfather didn't like that she was drawing furry porn and this turned into a big scandal. He tried to force her to drop drawing at all and she was about to give up. I've persuaded her to keep working, but she decided to stop drawing porn at all. That was an emotional and stressful situation that hit the both of us.

Another thing is actually a long story I kept secret for a while. When "The Fate!" started in December I used to live with my parents. I was earning some money with my commissions and planned to get ready and move out in May. However, my mother has suddenly decided that was time for me to "learn some responsibility". And I was forced to move in with my younger brother who has already lived alone in parent's other apartments.

I wasn't ready for that. January was full of stress for me. And each month since then I had to struggle and keep positive. And I never gave up. But my brother has suddenly relaxed because of me. He lost his job and didn't hurry to find another one because he knew I'd pay our bills and other stuff. He kept promising he had a great business idea and already was working on it. But there were no real moves.

I've stuggled and stuggled, but I really felt I was about to get absolutely mad because of the overwork (I have to work at least 12 hours a day to get in time with both commissions and comics updates).

And then in May my brother has suddenly rushed to Saint-Petersburg. He had some "friends" there who were to help him with his "business". Me and parents were not sure about this idea, but still helped the brother to move there. 

In June me and my father were in Saint-Petersburg because father's good friend died and we needed to take his car from Saint-Petersbug to Omsk. We met my brother and he was really happy. He said their business was about to start and they were to make money. We were happy for him and had some hope. 

However, he failed again. At the end of July he called mother asking to save him and take back home because he lost all his money and was actually on streets. We've transferred him some money and he is back home now.

He is glad to get back home, we're glad he is alive. But I feel really stressed again. I'm listening to the well-known promises and understand that the things are going to be the same again, but this time I has no power left

I'm not giving up anyway. All this text was not to complain but to explain the situation I'm into. I still struggle and I'm not going to drop "The Fate!". 

I'm really grateful to all my Patrons for you support. This gives some hope that my favorite work can really save my life. 

Moreover, one good thing happened in July. "The Fate!" joined Webtoons Beta Advertisement program. And we've even received our first payout. It wasn't too big, but it was one more step to the good future. "The Fate!" can really become my full-time job one day and we're making our first steps to that)
