It's been years since Rebecca Smyth finally freed herself from the curse of the Wild-Woman. Another has taken the mantle, and is fighting the forces of darkness alongside a male counterpart on faraway hidden isle. But a crisis on that fabled, mysterious isle has rendered Rebekah McCallum unable to wield the power of the Wild Woman, and so the power must now return to it's previous bearer.

Thus, whilst she is enjoying a party on a Manhattan rooftop one balmy evening, Rebecca starts to feel strange. An all-too familiar feeling comes over her...

I guess I missed the original....

The panel at the end is stunning: an art deco skyscraper gargoyle with Wild Woman astride it. The perennial conflict between man's modern urbanism and the primal, untamed forces of nature. Like King Kong on the Empire State Building.

Love the detail of the guy finding the exploded shoes! It sucks I missed the boat on the original Wild Woman! This is the first I’m seeing her but I hope to see more of her soon along with Wild Girl! Great work Manic

Lots to like. As others have said the final pose and her date finding the ruined shoes were great details. Also nice touch leaving this open to more stories and that potential origin. Manic well done, a cyber toast to you!

I can’t wait to see more of her. I like how someone else took her powers. But how did she get her powers to begin with? I hope there will be a comic explaining it with multiple transformations and sexy scenes.

SegaSaturn

I can’t wait to see this inked and colored as well.

Sorry to ask but is there any word on power girl / Rampage , Mary’s curse , and that She Brute comic that is set in 1968 ?

Love your work btw 🔥

Working on all of those things. Updates soon! And no more distraction pieces for now.

I guess my short scribblings about an origin weren't needed. Unless, of course, the story idea I had created ties into this transitory mantle? It is fun to consider that there will always be a 'Wild Woman' and the form passes between women through generations or whatever. That means you get to have fun with different historical eras and countries.

Mr_0182

Not sure if it affected anyone else, but I can't view the images at all.

I really like your origin story! I'm going to incorporate it, definitely.

Cool gargoyle!
