As a kid, I dug Masters of the Universe. I watched the cartoon, saw the movie umpteen times and even had a few of the comics. A favourite of mine was a comic I took on holiday that recounted the origin of my favourite figure-- Modulok. That said, I wasn't as mad into He-Man as I was Transformers, Star Wars or M.A.S.K.

Strangely though, I get more of a kick from drawing Masters of the Universe characters than I do any of those other old cartoons, and so for fun I've been drawing a little He-Man comic on and off for the last few weeks. I came up with the neat little concept of both He-Man and Teela being turned into Skeletors and somebody else having to step up to the role of Greyskull's champion. Mainly I started this because I really wanted to draw Trap Jaw, but I also wanted to add my own ideas and characters to this world.

I LOVE Star Wars! I've never made any sequences featuring characters from the franchise, however.

Very cool. Did the TV show really have Spidey-style wisecracks like that?
