Back...way back, in the beginning... there was Unzipped's 'Homage to the Savage She-Hulk site...and it was glorious. I remember finding it and being totally, totally blown away that, not only were there other people in the world who shared my, ahem, 'interests', but that someone had gone to such effort to make a website for it too. My heart raced when I found the gallery section containing all the TF scenes for every issue of Savage She Hulk. This was back when the internet was in it's infancy-- if I wanted back issues, I still had to find them the hard way, and I only had issues 5 to 19. The magnificent 'Forever People' in Bristol (a different trip down memory lane to get misty-eyed about another time) had every issue from 5 upward, but not 1 to 4. Generally speaking the quality of the art and graphic depictions of the transformations seemed to dip after about issue 10. Post issue 19, Jen opted to remain as She-Hulk full time, so I wasn't interested in those comics. But 1 to 4-- those were my holy grail! Disappointingly, 1, 2 and 4 featured no TF scenes (apart from a nice reversion at the end of 1, dutifully pastiched in my own 'Atalanta' comic). 3 though, had a really nice almost TF-- but also some frustrating off-camera hulk-outs. Now, Unzipped opened a comptetition to all the budding artists out there to fill in those gaps, either in prose or with images. I can recall a couple of great entries from Terry and (I think) SheHulkFan, but I always meant to get around to throwing my own hat in the ring. And here, nearly 20 years later, is my entry. Is the competition still open?

Man..... Nostalgia Sense is tingling! It's where we "met".... And I was like "who is this kid with the colored pencils? I wonder if he will last...."

What a gift ! So, this scene's happening thanks to Buck Bukowski's unannounced visit ? Thanks, man !

This is gorgeous! Those colors, so perfect too! And thanks for the trip down memory lane. I missed those early sites. I remember stumbling onto Savage Impulses 3 circa 2004 and being stunned. Such a great community!
