Aboard the Toad Men's ship, Betty Banner is watching the rotation of the Earth when a horrible realisation hits her. The ship is passing to the side of the planet facing away from the sun-- the night side! And when night falls... the She-Hulk emerges! Surely enough, Betty starts to feel the first signs of the change as the suns rays slip behind the nighted globe. Her throat tightens...a black haze seems to descend upon her mind...it is happening! Moaning with anguish, Betty feels her clothing tightening around her as her body grows larger. Those moans soon become bestial snarls of rage and confusion as the transformation completes itself. Throwing off the runied rags of Betty's labcoat, tweed skirt and woolen sweater, the Incredible She-Hulk rises to her formidable seven feet in height and bellows: "Where am I? What is this place?"
