Golden ornaments for the hips and necklace have been modeled.
I took another look at the dress and have decided to keep the bones, with some minor tweaks, like more bones. As long as the character isn't doing something like a high kick, there shouldn't too much of an issue with clipping.

Oct 5 - Added image to OP. Alpha is out for DL.
Burning patrons can pick up the new alpha version right now. What you see in the image in the OP is what you get while I continue working on it. It's a bit on the low poly side at the moment, but this makes it easier to work with before I start going into extreme detailing.

If you were a September burning patron that dropped down, it has been added into the link that was given at the end of September.

Oct 4 - Added image to OP.
It's 1am in the morning. I am now in Unity.
The alpha version will be available later today.

The details of some issues I've found are as follows:
- It's hard to line up the dress with any other pose other than standing.
- The more I make the loin portion of the clothe hug the body, the more it might clip.

The sides of the cloth hang lower than the gown mods I did before. This means I have to be wary about how the flowing cloth transitions from the leg to the dynamics.
The gowns from earlier (Leifang, Long, and Chun-li) dynamics start at the waist or above. Sword maiden starts below the waist, which is in a pretty bad spot, especially when customization is concerned.

This is where I'll be posting the Alpha/Beta version of Sword Maiden when it eventually comes out. If you're a Burning patron for October, you can just check Patreon within the next few days. When the post is made, it will be uploaded to that link as well.

I've also added a new image to the OP.
I've decided to redo the top via remeshing. The current version covers most of the breast since I was basing it off of the anime design. I've decided to switch over to the light novel design where the side boob is easier to see. This part won't actually take long at all (at most an hour or so) since I can use the already existing mesh as a template.

I'm not making enough progress to make a beta version due to irl stuff, so the next alpha version will be released on the weekends.

I've updated the images to include the newer sword maiden. I redid most of how the mesh works and have started blocking the extra clothes. There's still much to be done, and there's no way I can finish it this month.

This post will be where I'll be posting my production log.
The opening image is of what I had for the alpha test suit.
It's a speed model done within a day and no breaks, so it was rather rushed.

I have the overall shape of the dress figured out, I just need to start making the blocks, then going into detail, then texture work.

So here's a list of things that need to be (re)done.

Parts
- Main dress
- Cape
- Habit
- Gloves (I can borrow an existing one)

Secondary cape.
- - For the secondary cape, it looks like the back portion is connected to the golden belt.
- Ornaments (neck and waist.)
- Sandals
- Scale Sword (maybe)

Things that don't need to be done.
- Blindfold.
- Hair

Afterwords, I'll have to run through either Z-Brush or substance to get the finer folds.

This post will be updated when significant progress has been made. The expected release date might not be this month, but a newer alpha version should be made available after the 25th.
