An Arctic Encounter - PRELIMINARY SKETCHES : First Draft (Patreon)

Little bit of a shaky start this month but looking to get back on track with these hot fresh preliminary sketches! These are the backbones of the comic. During this phase I'm mostly interested in pacing, scene composition, flow of action and all that good stuff, so the quality of the drawings aren't as important. Just splash some pencil scratches on the page and see what shapes up! At this point of the process it's good to not be too attached to anything, keep it loose and don't be afraid to try three or four different versions! I find that no matter what you put down, having something on the page that you don't quite like is always more helpful than staring at a blank page. Because at least then you know what you want to change! 

Hehe that's enough artist's corner for now! Look forward to the finished product, coming out just as soon as I can. <3
