This is a Level 5 Patreon Tier Movie Request from Ryan!

This drew me in so quickly. I was so invested and so curious to see what would happen and it didn't disappoint! This ended up being so well done, so interesting, and so TENSE, and I highly recommend it!

NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. I also have a timer synced throughout the movie so you're also in sync the whole time! If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening!

Shortly after this movie came out, Jayson Blair at the New York Times was caught fabricating stories, which got much more public attention than the Stephen Glass story had, so ever since people have been much more on the lookout for it. And he was able to stay undetected for a while despite the Times using photographs, which makes that one line from the end quite sadly ironic. As for Glass, his fiction writing career never went much of anywhere, despite his books getting good reviews, many of them saying what a shame it was that he put his undeniably great writing talent to such a bad purpose. After graduating law school, the scandal still kept him from being approved as a lawyer and he had to settle for being a paralegal. Starting in 2015 he's sent restitution checks to all the places he'd written false articles for, equal to the total payments he'd gotten.

Oh, nice! I'm really looking forward to rewatching this one. Thanks for requesting it, Ryan; it's actually one of my favorites too, and it seems like not many people have seen it.

I really hoped that its being the first time Hayden Christensen and Rosario Dawson were in a project together (even if they don’t have any scenes together) would get it more attention once Ahsoka came out.
