You’re my hero! I’ve been wanting to see someone react to this movie for so long! I haven’t seen it in ages and it was really nice watching it with you. It’s such a beautiful movie. I love how the stories of the mothers and daughters are woven together. It feels like that point when you grow up enough to really see your parents for who they are as people, not just parents, and there’s a whole new connection. I love the poetic way these characters spoke as well. It brings a certain joy to all that sadness.
