Woah... that was trippy and absolutely wild. Super well done and truly just mind boggling. Really great watch!

NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. I also have a timer synced throughout the movie so you're also in sync the whole time! If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening!

Anytime a movie separates parents from child in movie, that is my kryptonite, and I will probably cry. Anybody have any updates on Jeremy Renner's condition?

Per what I’ve seen on the news, he is home from the hospital and recovering though I’m sure there will be extensive physical therapy needed as he suffered over 30 broken bones and had multiple surgeries. Thankfully it appears he’ll make that full recovery as his accident reminded me of the sad passing of Anton Yelchin years back.

Sam, to help out with some questions: The bomb was set by the group of soldiers that had been listening to too much conspiracy theory radio/videos. The shooting was between them and the security the Colonel sent in as they wanted to ensure the bomb went off. Louise picks up the phone of the CIA agent from a table as she was walking in looking for a phone; she likely had no idea it was his but needed a way to call the Chinese General. And as for the Heptapods, since they don’t perceive time in a linear fashion, I believe they were here now to allow humanity the time to use their new unification to develop whatever tools would help them in 3,000 years. And yes, Louise was having flash forwards after being able to begin thinking like the Heptapods (she and Ian mention this language theory about how the brain rewires how it thinks when it truly absorbs a new language). Glad you liked it. I also get emotional at the beginning and the end, helped greatly by the music played in those segments (On the Nature of Daylight by Max Richter). It’s beautiful and heartbreaking that Louise has her daughter despite knowing what will happened, to both the daughter and her relationship with Ian after he leaves due to being upset/hurt/tricked/betrayed by Louise since she knew Hannah’s fate and didn’t tell him before they conceived.
