the Bridget Jones movies are my guilty pleasure lol. I enjoyed the reaction! I hope you'll watch at least the second one (Bridget Jones Edge of Reason)

One of my favorite scenes is the fight scene. It was supposed to be a typical Hollywood, choreographed, macho brawl. But Colin Firth and Hugh Grant said that no Brits would fight like that. Hence the awkward kicking and grappling. Plus, the apologies to the diners when they knocked into their tables. And, the fall through the window left them both flat on the pavement instead of continuing the fight as if nothing happened. It was fun to watch two characters with no reason to have fighting skills actually demonstrate that they had no fighting skills.
