Holy. Shit. This was AMAZING. Absolutely an incredible movie through and through. So intense and so much more serious than I had anticipated whatsoever. The acting alone from J.K. Simmons in QUITE the role is worth your watch. I'm STILL in awe. Please watch the movie if you haven't already. It's now a top favorite film of mine, 100%.

Now you see why J.K. Simmons won the Oscar. He was in Oz back in the day, and it took years for me after that to not just HATE him, he played such a bastard in that show. He's good at taking on that kind of role. I'd forgotten about this movie, and I'd always intended to watch it, so I'm glad you did this!

You're right -- this is an amazing film and definitely underrated. Seriously, I don't know why it doesn't get talked about more. Then again, even I forget about it from time to time for some odd reason. I've seen it, I think, four times now after having watched your reaction, and every time I see it I'm blown away by how good it is. And yet for some reason, I find myself forgetting about its existence whenever I try to think of my favorite films of the past 10-20 years. It's strange. Anyway, really good reaction and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Great pick, Miles!
