Hey there! Thank you for being a Patron! Here's the full reaction to DEAD POETS SOCIETY!

This was an unexpected journey and I really enjoyed it! It started with teenage boy antics which was pretty funny, but then just made a very... serious and emotional turn, and I didn't really expect that! Great movie overall, and I hope you all enjoy this reaction!

Apologies for the late posting, and also sorry that I'm a bit stuffy in this recording; I recorded this literally hours before a cold hit me full force D:

NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. I also have a timer synced throughout the movie so you're also in sync the whole time! If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening!

But what am I supposed to be angry about now?

I have been waiting for this one since you started Robin Williams fest. This is my favorite RW movie. I wish my teachers had been like Mr. Keating. I would have learned so much more and done it with enthusiasm. Charlie was always my favorite character. He was just fearless and devoted to his friends. He could come across like a jerk but I think it was just his way. I know it ends on a really hard note that can be depressing but I look at Todd who had such bad anxiety He could barely speak to the Principal and yet Keating meant so much to him that not only did he speak up, he did that moving tribute at the end. I was like Todd growing up so seeing him defy his fears to honor Mr. Keating always just makes me cry happy tears. Fun facts about the movie. It was shot in order. Once Neil left school the actor was kept sequestered from the remaining cast to make the loss felt more deeply by the other students. Todd's breakdown in the snow was filmed in one take. Originally Cameron was supposed to stand on his desk too but the actor disagreed saying Cameron wouldn't do that and the director agreed. And lastly Kurtwood Smith saw a family at the premier with a father domineering his son in the way Mr. Perry dominated Neil and when he saw them after the film leaving, the father was crying.
