I'm not about to sit here and try to convince a whole bunch of grown people to do some light prepping in case quarantine becomes a reality in this country-- so instead I'll list out a bunch of sources for you guys to make your own choices. I recorded this video 36 hours ago, and the coronavirus has spread more in that time. Japan is shutting down it's schools for a month, the virus has reached Nigeria and Denmark, and the stock market has plummeted to worse levels than the 2008 economic crisis. There is also a possibility that the increase in flu deaths this season were misdiagnosed coronavirus cases. Trump has appointed the seriously ill-equipped Mike Pence to oversee the coronavirus outbreak, the same man who, as governor, allowed an HIV outbreak to fester in his state of Indiana. Trump has told us not to worry- and I don't trust that man a bit. In fact, numerous Trump-affiliated politicians like White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulaney are insisting that the media is using the outbreak to target and "bring down" Trump. The CDC is not allowed to make statements about the coronavirus without consulting Pence first. To top it all off, as I was typing this paragraph, the New York Times just reported:

"A second person in Northern California has been infected with the coronavirus without having any known risk factors, such as travel to China or exposure to somebody known to be infected."

As of 7:28 PM, February 28th 2020:

You can monitor the spread of the virus here: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

The seemingly low death rate is one thing causing skepticism that people need to prepare, but quarantine -- either self-quarantine or at the state level-- seems like a real possibility.** If you were stuck inside the house for 14-30 days, do you have everything you need to live comfortably on hand?

** start here: Most Coronavirus Cases Are Mild. That’s Good and Bad News.
