The Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, more commonly known as the G.I. Bill, was presented as a way to help all WWII vets settle back into civilian life and thrive. Unfortunately, the GI Bill did not help black vets in the same manner as it did whites. In this short video I explain how. Scroll down for references.
