Oof! I'm not even going to look to see how long it's been since I posted a preview :( Shame on me. It's been a rough summer, that's all I can say! 

I'm back in the saddle now, though--lots of finished pages ready to go. And I'm so excited about the upcoming chapters in both Crooked Mile and Ninecrow! Lots of fun stuff coming up (okay, maybe "fun" isn't quite the right word for Ninecrow...especially the next few chapters, now that we're closing in on the end...don't say I didn't warn you).

I'm really glad that you're back, safe and well, and I'm looking forward to the next pages. I didn't make the connection between "Ninecrow" and "One for sorrow" because in the UK where I grew up, the poem refers to magpies, and is best known as the introduction to a children's television programme (note the UK spelling :-) ). The Crooked mile page gives a whole new meaning to "letting the cat out of the bag".
