Also coming out next month. A mousle ranger kit :)

What do you think of the black background vs the grey?

I've added in some new weapons to these.
Thorn spears, bird claw daggers and pine needle swords
In the future I will get some pre posed figures done with the new weapons as I know not everyone likes the multi part kits

Also the ball joints are slightly smaller for these than the Koa Toa as the figures are smaller, but I'm hoping to do more small scale kits in the future like kobolds. The parts for all the small kits will work together.

and finally I have done the heads separate on this kit as that was another request from some of you :)
Hope you like them

So excited! Thank you!

These look amazing! Also, I thought I would prefer the black background, but switching between them I think the grey background shows off the parts more.

It’s the sort of kit I’ve been waiting for! Can’t decide between the backgrounds, but leaning ever so slightly toward black.

I haven't done one of your multi-part models yet, but have done makers. Some are easy to print and glue, some are more suited for using the parts in a 3d program (such as Blender), joining and then exporting out to print. As an example, I just cannot get Anvil Industries to glue together properly and so I combine them the way I want in Blender. Would you recommend one over the other for yours?

Oh my gawd. Fantastic. I didn't know that I needed these! :P I think I like the grey background best but it could be force of habit that I connect your models with a lighter background. So many designers do the dark background so the light one perhabs makes your stuff stand out a bit better?

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure and after staring at them to long I was the worst judge 😂

Love it. But we need another shield som that we can use it to make a mousle that actually uses his shield :)

Duncan_shadow

I've been finding gluing them after printing is best. In fact after under coating I've been finding some of the joints just push fit together so the joints seem to be fitting nicely. I would be interested to see what you guys think after printing them out though

Impatient to print these 😍. Are the mouse knight in the list for upgrading at some time in the future. For your picts i'd lend toward a dark background with the kind of render you have. Maybe not pure black but a dark grey of some sort ... ?

Very cool! I just hope that my hands will help me assemble them... :/ I'm not sure which background I prefer, they both show the parts reasonably well.

Nice!! Infinite mouse rangers! I think the grey looks more professional than the flat black. A subtle dark gradient would look even better.

Oh... my... god.... I love this!

Duncan_shadow

Hope you have fun printing them :) Thanks for the feedback, a few people seem to like the grey background so I think I'll stay with the group consensus

Duncan_shadow

I was thinking about taking the shield out completely and having a different set with a few shields of different designs. I ended up leaving it in as the original rangers had that shield, but I'll do more in the future and make sure all the parts are compatible :)

Duncan_shadow

That's a thought. Maybe a gradient would work well. So light grey gradient to dark grey or black to a dark grey. Thanks for the feedback and yes I am planning on giving the Knights this treatment as well :) I'll give them a load more weapon options as well at the same time

Duncan_shadow

The multi part kits seem to be going together pretty well, but there will also be more whole pre posed sculpts coming :)

A smooth gradient will be adequate I think, as long as the light grey of it is apart enough of the grey of the renders. Great news for the mouse knights ! I have a mouse knight waiting for its 2 handed sword leaning on his shoulder (oooh the subtle incentive here 🤣)

Tom C

I like the grey better than the black

Duncan_shadow

2 handed swords it will be then :) Let me know if there are any other weapons you want

Ah ah. For multipart kits like you do now it's hard to set a limit to the variety. A lot of different options is always nice but you'll get mad if you sculpt dozens of arms for the same model each month 🤣. Maybe just swaping weapons on a weapon arm can avoid this. Apart from this options for the knight can be axe/mace/sword for 1 handed weapons and broadsword/axe/spear/halberd for 2 handed variants. That'd be a lot of variations for one model already. Also regarding shields, for modular models leaving a plain one for the people wanting to freehand/transfer is valuable.

Duncan_shadow

That's a good shout on doing the weapon swaps. I'm already feeling my sanity slip away and I've only just started these 😂 Good idea on the plain shields as well I'll keep that in mind Thanks for the ideas

This is really cool. I'm looking forward to printing 5 or 6 buildplates full of these and building a Frostgrave warband with all the parts :D What are the chances of doing the same with Armoured and Magical mouses? :D

Duncan_shadow

That sounds great I would love to see how they come out for you. The chances are strong.... very strong..... in fact a dead sert :D I have loads of ideas of stuff I want to give the multi part treatment and the rest of the Mousle range is one of the ones that are right at the top :)
