Yes! I've been waiting for a race of dino folk!!!!

Love them but the frog folks arms are a bit long

Robb

Any chance of you doing a raccoon too?

Anonymous

Starting to think I'll be able run that Redwall inspired campaign soon. 😁

Sweet!

Love the dino guy!!

Awesome!!!! Love the Dino guy, need the Froggy guys, pretty sure all of them will fit in my homebrewed world.

Anonymous

Love them. I just dont get why the frog's arms are so long.

Duncan_shadow

Yeah I totally agree the arms definitely need to come in, they are currently looking really weird :S

I do have plans for foxes. I want to do some bunnys as well, I've just been struggling with envisioning the designs at the moment, but I use to have rabbits when I was younger and think they are the cultist little things. After doing rabbits I'll have to do some hares to go with them :)

Duncan_shadow

Yeah they are getting shortened :) I'm not happy with the way they are looking ether :S

Actually, I mainly use the word "hares" because of the association with Redwall in my head. Rabbits are just as good, so far as I am concerned! In some ways, better, as I also tend to see them as more fun and carefree than actual hares, making for some colorful characters and bizarre encounters (this from a DM who once had kobolds fire a blackbear out of a catapult at the party). So, consider rabbits requested by me, if that is more in line with your own vision!

Also, if it helps with inspiration, see if you can get a look at Ironclaw from Sanguine Games (I think I may have mentioned it before), and it's Wuxia counterpart Jadeclaw. They are all about anthropomorphic critters, as well as their fictional countries with fairly rich histories and cultures. For example, I was never a fan of horses from that perspective, but the chivalrous Avoirdupois knights and paladins have won me over.

I'm fascinated by this. Are they sculpted and rigged like this and then posed?

Duncan_shadow

Yes sort of. I sculpt them like this than block out rough areas where I'll have cloth or armour etc. I then pose them and refine the other elements. I don't rig the mesh just because I use the transpose tools in Zbrush to pose. I will mask off areas and then bend and push the none mask area in to position.

Thanks for the info, the behind the scenes stuff is pretty compelling.

Duncan_shadow

You're welcome :) I'll try and post more stuff up like this showing the behind the scenes stuff
