I have copied and pasted the doctor out of this stat sheet :)

Thank you for the heads up about the mistake

Also in other news I am commissioning some pre supported versions of my sculpts.

I'm getting done the Musin currently and will send them out to you all when they are done.

I'm not planning on charging any more for them, just going to add the pre supported in.

Let me know what you think, good idea bad idea etc

I just printed a couple of presupported minis for the first time, it went great, thanks for the option. Also, curious for the merchant tier, if someone purchases a mini that has a stat block, do you have any issues with including said stat block in with the shipment?

Love pre supported models, such a time saver!

Wow, that's a great idea! I don't mind putting on the supports myself but it's a huge time saver for us when it's presupported. A lot of the bigger patreons are already providing presupported models. But they have people working for them. I'm not expecting this from any artist if they are working alone.

I've found pre-supports to be a little hit and miss and generally just do my own. Nice to have the option though, it'll certainly attract people / help with retention as people seem to almost expect to have models supported these days.

Yeah, gotta say thanks a ton for the effort to add supports. The more I get into printing models, the more I value models that are provided with supports, even more so if they're done well. As far as "doing them well", I think the general consensus I've heard is that 3DPrintingPro is the king when it comes to supports for resin printers. His tutorials are outstanding. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't seen them! I know he has also done supports for a few different artists and Kickstarters, so he might be willing to get involved. Whether that's an option or not, I have no idea, since I don't know what he charges or wants for his involvement.

Presupports!!!! Yes!!!!

Yes to pre-supports! After supporting various patreons, I definitely go to pre-supported more often to save time.

OMG pre supported. ive been backing you just because i love your work. but print minimal stuff as supporting is a pain for me sometimes. so i have to really like a model. now with presupports i will print out much more stuff to print. you are awesome

3dPprintingPro is the loudest, that doesn't make him the best. I have found I get as high a success rate, with significantly less material and marking on the mini using prusa autosupport for SLA- obviously with sanity check/manual adjustment if required.

I would have mentioned you, but I haven't seen your YouTube videos.

I'm totally fine with that :) I was thinking of making them all available online for free anyhow.

Duncan_shadow

Yeah I've noticed that, I think it's due to so many new people coming into the hobby they want to jump straight into getting good prints. Which I can completely understand.

Duncan_shadow

@Stefan I've never tried Prusa's software I'll have to give it a go. I'm pretty sure it wont take very long until the auto supports become so good we wont have to worry about supporting figures

Duncan_shadow

Thanks for all the feedback guys :) Glad you are exited about pre supported. I pleased to say I've had the first 3 figure back and given them a test print and I'm really pleased with the quality of the supports. Better than I've been producing for my own prints :D
