Image showing the elf dice town conversion.

I have opened the top up a little to make sure a d20 can fit put a paddle inside and created a smooth slope so the dice can come shooting out the open doors. Just a little bit of fun as people asked for it :)

Nooo! I just spent 1.5 days printing a dice tower from thingiverse. Now I got to print another one!

Oh well, my kids will enjoy the one I just printed.

I'm a total sucker for dice towers and trays.

I really cant wait to put this on a couple of tables - in some fancy filament - and watch people go crazy for it

might have to open up the stonefill for this...

In printing this I noticed that part 2 did not fit onto part 3, I had to scale it up about 6%. Did anyone else have this issue, or did I do something strange somehow and not notice it?

Just checked the files and they look fine. Would be interested to hear if anyone else had any problems with this.

Thanks for checking, it might be something off in some settings someplace. I would also like to hear from anyone else that has tried this one. I love the sculpt!

I checked this in Simplify3D and zoomed in to the first few layers and part of the front decoration sticks down a bit so that the main part of the structure does not start until layer 3, and thus does not stick well to the print bed.

Just had a look and I see what you mean. I will sort that out and re upload the files. I've been meaning to add some other bits the the starter pack and have them be Patreon only, so I'll do that with the elf dice tower. In the mean time a work around you could do is in simplify 3d just lower the mesh down a fraction of a mm and that should sort the problem. Hope that helps and thank you for letting me know about this.

A friend showed me how to start the printing at a certain layer height. The preview looks more like it should, with proper contact all around. I will try it in the morning once the current other print is completed.
