Perrin and an Update (Patreon)

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely holiday season.

I know I’ve been pretty MIA, so I wanted to give a bit of an update on what's going on with me. The short version of it is; getting back to work has been pretty difficult for me. Of course you know about Moe’s recent health complications, and that combined with other personal life stuff (that I don’t feel comfortable talking about), work has been difficult- specifically working on videos. I’m not sure why that’s the hard part for me, but that just seems to be the way things are playing out for me right now. I recorded audio for a video, but my mic decided it wanted to be blown out for whatever reason so I need to re-record it :’)

I don’t wanna just come here with al bad news though, so I also wanna say:

Chapter two of “The Search For Sacreum” is coming along well! Throughout all of this, my comic has still remained a big passion of mine, so pretty much every time I’m able to work it’s on that. The entire chapter is thumbnailed out, the page files are made, the panels are made, and all speech bubbles and text are in. I have a decent amount of it sketched and a few pages inked too!

As much as I’d love to get out some big videos I wanna make, it’s pretty evident that’s not gonna happen any time soon. I have video ideas of smaller, more simple videos to make, so I hope you’re looking forward to those. In the meantime, here’s a quick Perrin I drew; she’s definitely my favorite character from the Pokemon dlc.

Of course a part of me feels guilty for not being active, but I think a break (specifically away from the internet) was good for me. And I know you’re all always understanding and respectful towards me and my privacy, which I’m really grateful for- especially since I know not everyone with an online presence is that lucky. So thank you!
