Here's the current WIP version of the topping animation- obviously still WIP so there's rough spots (near the end is quite unpolished). There's a few places I'd really like to do some fluid simulation on, it should make more sense then.
As usual, I've used some constraint trickery to more effectively achieve the movements I want by moving 1 bone:
I'd like to either finish the animation part of the top animation or the egg animation this week. I really wanted to have one of these parts finished by now, but it looks more like that will be like... next week or the week after.
Also here's a little test of a stylized lava/rock material, just to take a little break from animation. I really just wanted to see if I could make it appear as though the lava and rock kind of more naturally blended together.
(the texture/blend depend the coordinates of an empty- as the empty moves up, so does the lave plane!)
Like I think it'd be cool if inside the dragon's cave, there was some lava, but I'm not too worried about how the dragon's cave will look right now since that's a bit farther down the line.
