A never ended story...

One of my first series in 3D was also called The Lost World. Somehow I stopped after a few scenes, started working with better software and models on other projects, so in the end I never completed the story. A pity, for the idea, is interesting and although the settings and renderings are somewhat basic and rough, I still think it´s worth having a look.

NOTE: there is an attachment with a zip-file at the bottom of this post where you can download the series.

...

I've no idea how the story would have continued, but my guess is that - not very original - the night slays the dragon and saves the hero. His reward would probably have been something of a more intimate nature that the time traveler has to offer - also no surprise there - and I guess it would have been consummated somewhere in a high tower of an old ruinous castle, at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Lost World. I would probably have added some unexpected twist or turn to the story, but I leave that to your imagination...

A hidden Trojan civilization made up of identical male clones? A thought

Only just found the Lost World galleries. Very interesting idea. I’d love to see what the octopus did to or with Joe. I also love the head and shoulders pic that heads the WorkDoc. Very handsome lad. Hope you might think of using him again especially as a sub/victim. Very good work.

Thanks Philip. Yes, it's a pity I stopped with this project. Somehow, I got stuck and once working on something new, it's very hard to pick it up again. The character is definitively handsome, but I remember I had a lot of issues with it, for it wasn’t a very good model. Had to adjust a lot after the rendering and that took a lot of time….

I think it's worth a continuation. If the Knight and the Traveler were to return to the lost world waterfall. The knight may be able to take him within the falls, to the secrets that lie beneath the falls, curiously undersea...

Ha, yes a world behind waterfalls! Sounds good and I'll keep that in mind :o)

Dommage car cette rencontre peut être prometteuse en tous points

Yes, you're right, perhaps I should pick it up one day or incorporate the idea in a new series.
