Hi! Hope you're all getting ready for a great weekend.

I'd like to start by thanking you for your support, I'm glad you got as excited with this as idea as we have here at Dinotonte ( ͡°  з ͡°) ❤

We've recently updated the character a lot. Hely has come up with some pretty fancy animation tools in the past few weeks, so instead of doing the character in full profile we decided to go with something that could give us more freedom down the road! This also opens way for better character customization in the future, so even though it's more challenging to animate we're confident this is the best way to go.

The gif is an example of the tools we're currently developing for the animations. Unity's animation system doesn't have any native way of curving sprites, so Hely has been creating some custom gadgets for the game. We thought about working using Live2D at the beginning, but because of the limitations we encountered it seemed better to do it our own way!

So there is a lot of work being done and a lot we still want to accomplish. The animations are going to be the first step in bringing the game to life, but we also know that character customization is a huge thing for the community so we also want to provide a lot of that as well. We want everybody to be able to build their dream guy/gal in our game and have some fun times together ;)
